Max Black began after a late night studio session with drummer J-Bone (Gag Factor, The Assholes & Vicious Fishes) and
singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist
Ray Zhor (The Box Cutters, RZ & the Blood).
After visits to Germany, Austria, Poland and Israel, the two were feeling enraged about the current dealings with the
historical truths about the Holocaust, and the expression of punk rock music. Ray, finding a suitable outlet for this concept,
whipped up some songs and "Let the demons out again". Together, they collaborated on a set of dark & brooding
songs inspired by the Holocaust and grassroots hardcore.
Currently, they are recording their 5 song demo entitled "Praise The Dead", and rehearsing for
LA shows.
